god thought

So, this is my odd thought today....

We wonder, or at least I wonder, why certain things happen to us. Usually I wonder why "bad things" happen. It is rare that something good happens and I think, "why me?"

Anyway, I was thinking, I wonder if before we are born god says something to the effect of, what kind of life do you want? For example you can go through this, this, and this, and it will suck but in the end things will will work out for a reason. Or you can have a relativly easy life with no great outcome. And we chose. Then we are born.

Then we live with our choice. And complain about our lives...

This is probebly totally bogus but I thought it was kind of an interesting theory.
