Dave Matthews Band

Last night my friend jon and I went to see Dave. He got tickets months ago... it was really good but also a little disappointing. I was definitly glad to go to a concert-- I really needed the break. But it was funny becuase all the dirty hippies had been replaced by yuppies and preppie college kids. It was all about the scene.... and the music seemed to be taylored to fit that. The quatity of the music was amazing but it was odd becuase they played almost all of their radio hits and little of the other stuff and they really didn't "jam." There was, with the exception of one one, no transitions from one song to the next. The music stopped. The lights went out. And then about 30 seconds later the next song started. Remeber when DMB was a jam band?

Oh well, it was still a lot of fun... maybe it was so much fun becuase I got a CRAZY contact high from standing next to smoker for 3 hours. I didn't drink or smoke a thing and I am completly hung over today....
