Change of Plans

So... My friend that I was going to go hiking with got into a car wreck about an hour before we were going to leave. This is what her mom wrote about it....

I am just glad they were alright and nothing worse happened. We can go hiking someother time... that is an easy thing to reshedule...

It is odd though how quickly things change change. Intellectually I am aware of this however practically when something happens it is hard to reconsile that fact. I think that I have such of deepset of idea of how things should be that it is hard to reconize how things really are. But I think that is the only way to stay sane. If we go around looking for everything that could go wrong then we might miss what is actually going on in front of us...

Anyway, just a thought... and I am glad the accident was not worse...
