A note from the road

I am writing right now from a hotel in Hopkinsville, KY.... that's right I didn't make it to Atlanta yet. 13 1/2 hours to go 460miles. It was rough. Hwy. 64 and 24 were awful. There was one point where I went 2 miles in a hour. Gypsy was about to freak. I had to use my four wheel drive on the highway and there were tons of cars and simis that had run off the road. It made me a little nervious. But I listened to lots of good talk radio... hum...

To top it all off after I checked into the hotel I was getting everything I needed from the car. I had my big pack on my back, my computer bag in one hand, gypsy's bag in the other and his leash somewhere in that mess. I had on my birk sandles and I totally fell on my tailbone. It hurt so bad I just laid there for about 20 seconds. I laid in the snow in the middle of the parking lot with gypsy looking over me... growning in pain. Now, I am going to take a shower and try to relax. Hopefully I will make it to Hotlanta tomorrow.

I hope everyone elses travels were good.
